THE SUB STUDIO - Graphic Design

The guys at The Sub Studio, a sublimation printing company based in the West Midlands, approached us to create their visual identity earlier in the year. Their clients are mainly street fashion companies or music industry related, so we knew they were after a identity which was on-trend & youthful and that would appeal directly to their clientèle. Unlike traditional screen-printing, their sublimation process allows for prints to cover the entire surface area of the material so there are no printing restrictions & the guys were keen to create something reflecting this. With this in mind, we developed a figure of 8 into the design & used the CMYK colour palette, to reinforce the knowledge that the business is within the print industry.
