LiteLok Social Media Campaign & Kickstarter Film

A series of films & photography for this award-winning,
high security bike lock company.

We came on board to assist Litelok with the Kickstarter for their award winning Core lock. Producing a creative crowdfunding film with a high production value, to match the quality of their products, allowing prospective investors to gain further confidence in the company & secure investment for the Litelok Core Kickstarter. Combining cinematic location lifestyle shots, high-end studio product shots & premium interview shots, the Kickstarter was hugely successful & generated over £210,000 in investment.

Following on from the back of the successful Kickstarter film, we started working with the team on creating website & social media content for the wider Litelok brand. For this we focused on the durability, portability & usability of the locks, showing them in a variety of everyday life situations. All designed & manufactured in South Wales, Litelok products are at the very top end of their market & they wanted their marketing material to reflect this. Our experience as keen cyclists ourselves enabled us to bring a unique combination of skills to the table, as we really understood the need for Litelok’s innovative products, allowing us to tailor a range of creative content to suit the intended audience.

Arranging all the necessary permissions from local authorities and private landowners, sourcing models, wardrobe & the logistics of the shoot itself were all vital in ensuring the product shoots went as smoothly as possible & enabled us to get the best possible footage from each day's filming. We utilised slow-mo throughout the series of films to creatively show the mechanics & patented technology of the locks, showing just how robust these locks are compared to other products on the market. Quick-paced gimbal shots kept the momentum building & allowed us to capture fun, dynamic footage. We also have a fully-licenced CAA approved drone operator within our in-house team, enabling us to capture the perfect sunset over the Brecon Beacons, as the final shot of the ‘Staycation’ film. Alongside the long-form films, we also produced a series of short, 15-20 second adverts and brand photography, showing the products being used in busy, urban environments, demonstrating the ability to confidently leave your bike anywhere.
